Headed out to Kansas for a three day class. Tuesday thru Thursday I hope to be home Thursday night.
I’ll be teaching “Valve Maintenance with DVC Calibration- Handheld” Yes, I will be holding their hands, but the name of the course refers to the use of a handheld communicator. The DVC is a “Digital Valve Controller” which is a pretty sophisticated device that makes sure an automatic control valve is positioned exactly where it I supposed to be. The DVC is controlled by an embedded CPU. The handheld communicator is a beefed up PDA used to talk to the DVC via a language called HART .
Hopefully, Cessna will have a museum in Wichita since their world headquarter is there. If there is one I'll try and get some pictures and post then here.
